Have you ever played with Perler beads as a kid? We had a fantastic throwback last night at Craft Night at work. We started off with a blank grid with pegs on it, and placed little colorful beads, almost like pixels, into each of our own creations! I chose, of course, to make a big eared drummstick-legged corgfriend.
Then, when we were done carefully placing all our beads, we covered them with wax paper and ran a hot iron over it for about a minute. The beads melted together, making one side soft and smooth while leaving the other still “beady”. Pull it off the grid, and violá— rainbow corgi!!!

Cookie is a 2 year old tricolor Pembroke Welsh Corgi from Westchester, New York. This sweet baby girl loves bunny hopping in the snow, licky sticky peanut butter, sprinting, and hiding behind furniture. Her best assets are her skunk-like head stripe, tail-less-flufferbutt, and pretty natural eyeliner. Her favorite toy is LambChopTM, Oversized Alligator, and her Squeaker Corgi.
