On August 18th, the annual NJ Frap Pack Corgi Picnic took place at Fords Park in Woodbridge, New Jersey. 111 corgis (plus their hoomanz) were in attendance this year, including some new puppy members that we all took turns petting and swooning over. The annual picnic is organized by Marc and Cynthia Dalangin, the founders of the Frap Pack corgi group, along with dozens of volunteers who donated their time to help out.
There was lots of food, fun, and a plethora of flufferbutts. Some corgis and their families traveled over 100 miles to attend the event! Picnic festivities included various contests like Longest Tail, Longest Ears, Best Costume, and Best Corgi Butt. Every year, there’s a raffle, featuring corgi-related items graciously donated by the corgi community and small businesses from all across the country. We were able to raise over $1500 for Bandits Bandaid, an assistance program that helps healthcare and emergencies for dogs. Go team!
Aaaand without further ado, onto the photos!

Stumps the Corgi was the head of the welcoming committee.

We had the honor of designing this years picnic shirts which helped raise money for Bandits Bandaid.

The plethora of raffle items all generously donated by the corgi community, which spanned across a total of 4 picnic tables!

SO. READY. FOR. CAKE. – Wally

No picnic would be complete without corgi socks. (Yes, Lulu is dressed up like a hot dog, very appropriate for the occasion)

Sully’s new nickname should be Sully the Swooner, because we were all SWOONING over this little flufferbutt! Welcome to the Frap Pack, Sully!

Sully again. Just because.

Thank you to our Grill Masters for making sure our tummies were all fed.

Tables full of nom noms!

Corgis of all shapes and sizes hanging out in their ex-pens.

Fluffy, meet fluffy!

And floppy, meet floppy!

Rogue was one of the most senior corgis in attendance this year. She’s 14 years old! Senior corgis rule and deserve all the pets and snuggles in the world. 🙂

“Ok ok, I know we’re cute! Is it time for cake?”

Smiling sisfurs Daphne and Willow. So. Fluffin. Precious.

We had a few honorary corgis who attended the picnic too.

Meet Big ol’ Teddy, the Samoyed Teddybear! Honorary corgi, for sure.

There were contests for best corgi butt…

… and costume contests too!

Lulu, the hot diggity doggo.

Such a good boy. *pet pet*

In the end, we’re all just a bunch of crazy corgi people.

This year’s picnic was a huge success, and we’re already looking forward to next year’s meetup. Thank you again to all the NJ Welsh Corgi Club members, volunteers, and donors who contributed and planned the picnic. It was furbulous!
