Drewbert, what is it like having a brand new baby sister?
D: I don’t know who this girl thinks she is, but she waltzes into my house, plays with my toys, cronches on my chews, steals my favorite spot on the AC vent, and cuddles with MY mom! I’d like to take this opportunity to file a formal complaint against this furry intruder.
I do reluctantly admit that sometimes, maybe a little, perhaps sort of, she’s fun to play with and wrestle with. But that’s only SOMETIMES! And don’t tell her I said this. She already has a high enough opinion of herself.
We realize that Mona has a lot of energy, how much goes into entertaining her during the day? We bet you’re a very busy big brother.
D: Unfortunately for her, I am a busy corgi and my calendar is booked out years in advance. I have super serious NAPTIME meetings scheduled from 8-12 PM, 1-5 PM and 8-10 PM. I can spare some for her in the mornings and afternoon when I’m feeling generous, but otherwise I leave her to my secretary (mom) to entertain.
Whose marshmallow paws are bigger? You know, asking for science…
D: That’s a no brainer, my paws are objectively bigger by circumference and wei–
M: HEYYYY EVERYBODY LOOK AT ME. LOOK AT THESE PAWS. LOOK AT HOW FLOOFY AND MARSHMALLOWY THEY ARE.
D: Wait Mona, there’s no debate here, we can literally measure our paws and see who’s are b–
M: DO YOU HEAR SOMETHING? NO? GOOD, NEITHER DO I. JUST LOOK AT THESE PAWWWWWS OF MINE, MY BROSKIS. DON’T THEY LOOK FABULOUS? DON’T THEY LOOK LIKE THEY’RE THE BIGGEST PAWS EVER? 3 OUT OF 5 DENTISTS AGREE THAT I HAVE THE BIGGEST PAWS.
D: *sigh*
Mona, are you excited to try your herding instinct test? Your brother passed with flying colors, how do you think you’ll do?
M: WHATEVER DREWBERT CAN DO, I CAN CERTAINLY DO BETTER. I DON’T KNOW WHAT A SHEEP IS, BUT IF IT MOVES, THEN I WILL CHASE IT. I ALREADY HAVE PLENTY OF EXPERIENCE HERDING MY BROTHER, SO I WILL BE FINE.
What’s it like being a pair of really ridiculously good looking corgis? We bet you have to stop for photos really often!
D: It’s a lot of work to look this good! Every week, my secretary (mom) and butler (dad) gives me a full mani/pedi. They trim my nails with a Dremel and they trim the fur under my paws with a clipper. Marshmallows don’t grow on trees, you know! I also get brushed daily and I also get my teeth brushed daily.
That being said, we don’t get stopped that often for photos. People are welcome to get photos with us though. All they have to do is ask, and I’ll get my secretary (mom) to help them out!
M: I DON’T KNOW WHY WE HAVE TO LOOK GOOD ALL THE TIME. IT’S WAY MORE FUN TO BE COVERED IN MUD.
Drewbert, you seem to wear a lot of really smart looking outfits. How do you choose your wardrobe?
D: I have my secretary (mom) coordinate my wardrobe for the photo shoots. She’s been my loyal secretary for 3 years now and I leave all aspects of the photo shoot to her discretion. That way, I can focus on my main task, which is to be really really, ridiculously good looking.
If you were on a desert island, what is your number one must have for survival?
D: Well, a human can go without food for about three weeks but would typically only last three to four days without water. If you abstractly assume the same for corgis, then I must say I would want to have an ample supply of water on the island. That ensures I will survive long enough on the island to worry about other necessities like food and shelter.
Mona, same question. What would you bring with you if you were stranded on a desert island?
M: ALL I NEED IS DREWBERT.
What are your future plans, are there any fun projects or photos that you have coming out?
D: My secretary (mom) and I have our work cut out for us with Mona. She needs a lot more training before she’s ready to be a true professional model like me. In the near future, we don’t have any projects in the pipeline, but we are always exploring new creative ideas and open to suggestions!
